Remote Bass knob for JL Amp
I just plugged one of these little dohickeys into my 500/1. But when I turn the knob it does nothing. Do I need to do something to the amp itself to enable the remote bass knob to work? What do I do here? I REALLY need this knob to work because when I go from listening to Webbie(you know...INDEPENDENT do you know what that MEAN? lol), then listen to something like the Deftones...I gotta do some tweaking lol. Help me out here.

I didn't have to do anything except plug it into my 500/5 and it works just fine. The owner's manual states that adding the knob automatically defeats the controls on the amp itself. You might have a bad knob or cord.
