I got these same comps installed and we just kept the stock tweeters in the dash and had the CDT tweets on the A pillar..I'll probably take the stock ones out because it probably is taking clarity away from the CDT's.
I wish I could figure out how to mount the CDT tweeters in the dash so I could hook up another pair and put them there.

Yes unhook the junk stock ones!
What is your question? How to mount the tweeter in the factory location or down near the mids?
A few guys have used plexi glass, others have used strapping to mount tweeters in the factory location. If it was up to me and I had 2 sets, I'd mount one set down low and another up in the a-pillars.

Haha alright thanks I was 99% sure I was going to unhook the stock ones.
What should I do with the wires that hook up the stock ones? Just tape them off and leave them?

Well since I replaced my HU with an Eclipse one I just un-hooked the harness at the plug and left everything else alone. I only removed the front 6x9's and the rear 6.5's and the sub under the seat because I replaced them. That way if I need to trade it I just put in the factory RF radio and the speakers and I'm done.
