Pac SWI-JACK Question

I just replaced the head unit in my 2008.5 Titan LE/Rockford system with the Kenwood DNX8120 and I am trying to add the SWI JACK to retain the steering wheel controls---PAC's site says "the Plug is located in the AV Switch panel control module. This control module can be found by following the AV Switch panel harness into the dash. I CANNOT FIND IT. Does anyone know where this is and how to describe the location to someone who is not an expert at this stuff!!

Thanks,

Re: Pac SWI-JACK Question

I just installed my Kenwood 6019 in my '04 with RF and there were two plugs that went to the factory deck that werent used... I assumed one of those were for the steering wheel controls.

How much did you pay for the PAC unit? I used one in my old VW and it was super easy to install.

Re: Pac SWI-JACK Question

I just did an 8120 with the same SWC on Monday. It was not in an 08 . It was an 06 but it worked perfectly. So its not the headunit or swc thats the problem. The wires could be different on an 08. I will call my buddy at peripheral tomorrow and see what he can find out for me.
