You have 6x9 in the front and 6.5 in the rear.
If you want 6.5 in the front, then you can get the speaker size converter thingys from tech12volt here on the board. CDT speakers from him also if you want the best sound for your buck. ;]

Nope 6by 9s in the front , but i would use 6.5s in the front witha na daptor and the rears are 6.5s but they need an adaptor also for the rears.

Really? My factory HU was only pushing like 4 watts to my components. Even the aftermarket HU didn't pwoer my comps well, although it was certainly alot better than factory.... I defintaely needend an amp. Also the stock HU in my truck is only rated for 2 ohms, all the stock speakers were 2 ohms actualy, so the power at 4 ohms was far from impressive.

Are they making the stock CD players alot better now tech?

For the OP I havent sceen techs adapters which im sure are awesome, but you can also make your own tracing the stock speaker housings onto MDF and cutting out the patterns with a jigsaw or rotozip, then cut a hole for the 6.5. Seal them to the door using factory screw areas with hardware of your choice (allenheads and nylock and washers is my favorite) and weatherstripping foam behind the adapters (pressed into the door panel) to create a cushion. Total cost is like $20-30 because they only sell huge pieces of MDF but if you have some already or can get a smaller piece the cost is probably more like $5.

Curious as well. I can just swap out my factory speakers with these- No amp and get better sound? Non RF headunit.

I'm interested in hearing more about this too...I'd think about doing this if it were $250 bucks worth of better sound from the non-RF system. I just don't think I have enough room to do anything more extreme right now.
