Aux Jack Not Working

I have an 05 Titan LE with the Fosgate audio system. It has both the satelite option button and aux jack for an mp3. I purchased a stero cable to connect my Zune and it would not work at all. I plugged it in and pushed the Aux button on the panel but got no sound. Is there a fuse or do I somehow need to activate this feature besides what I have described? Would really like to use my mp3 in the truck. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks

I don't think there is a fuse for the AUX port. Make sure the volume is turned up on you zune! The AUX input is not very loud. It also seems like I have seen someone before that bought a cable that didn't work for some reason!

I had the same issue with a "Jukebox" from Phillips. Had to crank up the volume on it.

I have an iPod, and the AUX jack produces terrible sound quality. Better to just use a CD.

I should also note that when I put the cable in the jack and push the Aux button the radio or CD that is playing do not turn off. Its like there is no connect. I will get a different cable and see what happens. Thanks!

When you push the AUX button, does it say AUX on the stereo screen?

No the CD or FM station is visible. When I push the Satelite Radio button it say no Satelite. Its like the Aux isn't connected and functioning.

I discovered that the plastic part of the plug on a cable I bought was too wide to seat properly in the Aux input. Try to find a cable with a "skinny" plastic part to the plug. Once I changed it out, it worked fine.

I careful shaved back the plastic on my Radio Shack cable and tried again. Felt like it was seating fine but no change. I am going to try another cable. Any other ideas? No fuse in this?

Maybe the connector on the BACK of the Aux input, behind the bezel, is loose or came off?
