This system is just sick. From DVD to BB's Geezer Rock... EVERYTHING sounds amazing. BB popped a dvd in his unit and just the opening sequence where they give you that dolby surround sounding feel sort of like when quadraphonic was all the rage in the 70's (do i bonus points for knowing about that??). I think the nicest feature is where the gain control is located so you can easily pull up to a red light and ghetto blast if you so choose. Even with a load of crap in the truck nothing rattled.... Riding to lunch with BB the truck just felt good acoustically within the cab to the point you really couldn't hear the NISMO roar to life. Whatever James did for the front end of the truck was done well. I think BB called it "stage front" and that's what it reminded me, my concert going days of being up near the big amp stacks.
I think the most beautiful part about the install is that you really have no idea it's there. Everything appears to be stock with exception to the front tweets. I can't say enough good things about the door components either. Putting your ear to the source really let's you hear the clarity within the speaker itself. The high hat hits are crisp and you can almost hear the fingers glide up and down the strings...
I don't really care for the orange eyebrow... I like the clean clear look on mine with the silverbulbs... I don't see any orange at all unless they are turned on.
Tech had this stuff when I got there... Don't know what brand it is... I have a feeling it's not really a "brand", but a pre-manufactured material that hasn't been stamped with a vendor's logo yet....
Looks like Dynamat to me, but without the company logo stamped on there?
