Good times so far, your interior looks exactly like mine does right now as well, Im doing a Kenwood DNX8120 and ED's throughout.

Question: You showed the active ground - single neg wire running to the body - how is that different then the Big 3?

I doubt the audio quality can ever be duplicated, but I can post some video of the system components. Just to give the viewers at home an idea...

We got the doors cleaned up, stock speakers removed, and sound deadener installed on all four doors. There are tons of contours to worry about and little holes and pockets. The sound deadener was rolled to remove the air bubbles. It makes an amazing difference when you bang on the door. It will make the new comps sound much better!

Driver's door with just the factory paper cover removed. All that sticky tape and crap needs to be removed.



And the rear door...



Here's what it looks like after it's all cleaned up...

Here's the sound deadener on the driver's door. The lighting wasn't too good cuz this was taken after dark. I'll get more pics of the finished product in the morning.

The only thing that really concerns me is that my rear SAWs are in California being rebuilt by Greg as we speak.... So, my truck is going nowhere if they don't come back in time...
