I meant video of the system working its magic, another thing that would look pretty sick in your truck is the pro4x style seats or maybe some custom katzkin leather

absolutly stunning. im finishing up my box right now also so this is just inspiration haha. i got all my dimensions from tech so it will just like that. im super pumped. what a clean install man

As stated numerous times, insane system. And a very clean install. One thing I found most appealing was the clarity. You could listen to this thing from across the parking lot and it sound just as crystal clear as if you were in the cab. Also, the base, all to often when someone has their base turned up, all you hear is "boots in the dryer" Not the case here. Inside or out, all you feel or hear is pure base.

That IS the best part of this setup.... At all levels of volume, you get clean, clear sound. Driving around with the volume at comfortable levels and holding a conversation, a new song starts up and the conversation gets interrupted as the occupants all heave a unified, "Wow..."

It's already happened!

And heck, with most music, you can't even turn this up much past halfway, or you have to be outside the truck! But it still sounds clear! Slight distortion as you reach the deafening levels past 3/4 volume. I don't ever see any reason to play anything that loud, so it's not even close to an issue!

This system was planned for a year and we changed it several times. The biggest thing was keeping the factory headunit and have it sound like an aftermarket headunit. I think we nailed it. Its really hard to explain just how clean and clear this audio system is with words. Its something you have to hear to really appreciate .

funny you mention Rockband. I bought rockband for ps3 in dec 07. Played it for a while then got bored of it. Took it to the next level and brought it inside my truck. I only have a kenwood dnx7100...So we all had to stare at a tiny 7 inch screen. My friends and I played as we drove, everywhere. The driver had to be the mic and got to pick the song because he/she needed to know the song well enough that he didn't have to look at the screen. Two guitars were played in the backseat.
so yea...just wanted to tell everyone my story. That post made me think of it and laugh.
