Kenwood 9140 Installed

OK guys reposting this and just sent photos to my other thread "IPOD hookup with Kenwood DNX 9140. This new system rocks and so far no problems after one week. The parking brake not being grounded will fix the IPOD video problem once I get it checked. Thanks James for the equipment and once I pay most of what I spent on this system and the installation its back to you for the rear woofers and amp. I'm impressed with the Navigation screen and the signals are strong. Car Toys installed the antenna under the dash close to the windshield. SIRIUS works great with the antenna on the roof and I like the rear view camera. Some voice commands aren't recognized when going from SIRIUS to IPOD or DVD but so far no other problems. The microphone and push to talk button is installed on the dash behind the steering wheel. Average time to bootup is 30 seconds, overall right a great system and a lot more exploring to do

Looks great, but 30 seconds to boot up? Is that how long it would take to get a CD playing?

My CD's play immediately within 5 seconds but I wait until the system is completely on before inserting one. When switching to SIRIUS, IPOD or a CD the average delay is about 5 seconds, sometimes faster. The NAV is quick with strong signals. Its the voice command delays that take awhile to recognize when changing from either or.

I will say this again. There is no camera on the market that is as a good as the kenwood. The picture quality is far better than anyone elses and the wide angle gives you a huge view.

Thanks James, its great and no more problems with watching videos. Kenwood support sent me this response and it works. (There is a process on how to play a video off the unit. You’ll need to go through the VIDEO icon on the system command drawer, the icon on the bottom right. Once the video is selected, back out to the main IPOD screen, and press the album art area) When I initiallly did it using the list for my IPOD and trying to play the video after going to album art window, it gave me the Blue Screen with no video signal. Everything is working fine and things seem to be getting a little faster. I'm glad I purchased the system and components from you.

I did a Google search of "Kenwood rear view cameras" and two different Kenwood cameras came up, the CCD-2000 and the CCD-900. Which of these two cameras were you referring to with the better picture quality, assuming one of these is the one you had in mind? Or are both of these good cameras?

CCD-2000 is the one I always use
