Well my stock tires are about done, and with winter coming up I don't want to be stuck with stock tires with no tread on the ice... So what tires do y'all recommend for winter conditions, that I can also get good mileage out of?
Stock suspension and rims.

Hey 54, how many miles do you have on that set now???
Tech, are you in Lubbock, TX?? If you are the Nitto Terra Grapplers might be good for you too. I really like them on the ice but we don't usually get alot of snow here.

Yes sir I am, Ice isn't always a problem in Lubbock, but it is a certainty throughout the winter months. There's absolutely no drainage system in Lubbock, so any water that collects pretty much becomes stagnant and will freeze over. I love the Terra Grapplers, but how is the tread life on them if most of my travel is city and highway?

Thanks, I have been hearing a lot of good things about Hankook on here, but have never seen anyone I know running them. How is tread life on these?

I'll have to look for sure but I'm fairly certain i put them on at barely over 20k-25k and I'm rolling 64k on the odometer now with over 1/4 tread left. I figure it'll be well into next year before they need to be replaced.
I've read some other people who wear through them FAST so i'm not really 100% sure, that's why I'm curious about 54's miles on his. I'm thinking about some Cooper STT for my next set for more traction offroad if they're not too much $$$.
Tech, I'm in Lubbock too. Good to have another Lubbockian on the board. I have about 14,000 miles on a set of the Hancook Dynapro 10s. I really like them. They still look new, ride well, and are quite. They seem to be good in mud and water. I haul hay in pastures a lot and have never had a flat. For the money, I'm satisfied. Got them at discount tire (stepson works there).

I've never had them myself but I'm sure that if they are rotated every 3 to 5 thousand you should get 30,000 to 35,000 out of them.

I would go with the Goodyear Duratracs they have the snowflake raiting so they were designed for those kind of conditions plus they are pretty meaty looking for a A/T tire...
