22" what tires

I want to get 22" wheels but want a tire that is the same overall diameter or a little taller than the oem off road pkg BFG's.

Good luck, I put 20's on my truck and had to go with a 305/55/20 tire, Nitto Grapplers were the only tire company to make a AT Tire for that size.

1BadTitan...

Here is a wheel calculator to figure out what you need.

Going with that large of a wheel diameter, I am potentially affraid that the only tires you are going to find are street tires and not off-road varieties.

Plug the 'current numbers' in the first column and then your guesstimate numbers in the right...it will tell you how much the speedo etc will be off.

To find tire sizes for the right column, go to tirerack.com or the like and search for tires and available sizes.

I have 22's on my Titan

Nitto 305/45 R22 are 3/8" taller than the BFG off-road tires that came on my Off-Road Big Tow package with 17" wheels. They fit very nicely and have enough height to give a nice ride.

22" on an offroad equipped truck, arrrgh. imo, that is crazy. but to each his own. btw, if you never have to deal w/ snow or mud i guess it wont affect much except maybe ride quality and bank account size, lol.

Well I am in Florida, no snow, mud or any nasties where I travel I own a stereo shop and sometimes ya just gotta keep up with the Jones'. My Titan is a 2x4 though it does have the off road package. The 22's add a bit of uniqueness to it as I am the only one we've seen with this look...I really liked the stockers but sometimes ya gotta advertise
