went to dealer bout brakes

I went to the dealer today to get my free oil change and asked them to look at the brakes. A tech came out turned on the truck and pushed in the brakes. He noticed that the fluid level was low and told me to not drive it till they look at it. Then he said the problem might be the new brake lines i had on my truck since i got the cst lift and that they might not have bleed the brakes. The thing is my brakes had been the same since i got the truck so it cant' be that. I guess i'll find out hopefully later today.

IMHO, the brake-pedal travel is to far before braking begins to occur, and it's not linear, i.e., initial braking should be firmer and not require pushing 1/2 way to floor to "feel" like you're stopping.

It seems that there was air in the system so the bleed the brakes and now it is much better and doesn't push in nearly as far.
