One more tire/lift question please!

Here is what I have. 06 2WD King Cab. I have aftermarket 18"s with 285/60/18 Coopers. I also have the PRG 2" leveling kit.

I purchased a 3" body lift and will be installing that soon, I will need to get bigger tires. So two questions: I'm having a hard time finding the right tire size to compare prices. I know with 33's or 35's they are not your standard size like I listed above. Where do I start to search? 30 x12.5 or something?

Also should I be looking for 35's instead of 33"s? Once the body lift is installed will I be looking at my truck thinking the 33"s are to small? I was told that a bigger tire will acutally give you another inch or two of height as well, is that fact?

As always thank you everyone for looking and responding. Great website with a great amount of people helping out.

Re: One more tire/lift question please!

Run a 295/70R18. This tire is about 34.25" tall and about 11.6" wide. These would mount up on your stock wheels and with the 3" body lift and 2" level they will fit like a glove.

If you need more help than that give us a call. Anyone here would be happy to help you. We can quickly run through some options and we can save a quote in our system if you aren't quite ready to buy.

If you need a calculator to help you determine how large or wide a metric tire size if. Use this: Tire Size Calculator - Discount Tire Direct
Type in your current tire and the tire you want to run and it will calculate the size differences for you.

Here's a link to the tires available in the 295/70r18 size: Tire Products - Discount Tire Direct

Thanks, but I have aftermarket 18" wheels, I'm not running stocks. Does this change anything?

You should still be in good shape assuming the wheel dimensions are correct. What width and offset are your running on your aftermarket 18" wheels?
