I don't think there are any large offroadin tires that would fit 23 or 24" wheels. That would only be for looks, a really rough ride, and some lost power and mpg.

A 24" rim fits with or without a drop, the ride isnt rough, the power isnt any different, since the wheel/tire combo is smaller than the 18" wheel/tire combo, and the MPG would stay around the same - get your facts straight Trojan. And go with 24's - 23" tires are more expensive then 24's - I'll post pics as soon as the drop is done........and remember, not everyone wants a YeeHaa truck lifted with big tires, I thought we went over this........

Wow, 24 foot tires, bet that requires some fender cutting. I'd have to say the ride is a little rougher with less side wall=less cusion, you can't defy the laws of physics. Also, larger wheel=more turning weight=lowered performance, mpg, braking effeciency. Often these differences aren't even noticeable, perhaps measurable, but to say everything would stay the same etc., is wrong.

Well a couple false statements in the above...

1. The ride will be rougher due to the lower and stiffer sidewalls on the tires

2. Yes, you will loose acceleration due to more rotating mass

I second that, CT. Inertia can be the enemy. Hey Sammy ya nailed another one. You don't miss a trick when you read these things, huh? One thing though...you spelled "cushion" incorrectly.

Ride will be rougher with lo pro tires and turning 24" tires and rims will prolly be more than the stock 18"....and you tell Trojan to get his facts straight? and i guess i have a yeehaa truck i like it though...you should get a nice lift for it, and then throw on a bodylift (when available) for extra clearance then add your 22" or 24" rims with 40" tires HAHAHAHHA

I think you should represent us Titans and get 28" wheels. Don't let them Hummers have all the glory.

Re: Question: 23 or 24 inch rims on Titan?

I saw a titan with 24s in a photo album at the local Les Schwab. I hate to say it, but it looked rather goofy. It may have looked better if it had been dropped though. The wheels looked HUGE, like a big *** covered wagon or something.

Re: Question: 23 or 24 inch rims on Titan?

I like the look of mine on the 24's. Some people don't. We all have our own opinions. But as far as performance goes. My ride is rough, acceleration has been hurt along with braking. I enjoy parking and having a beer with the guys. And my truck gets plenty of looks and thumbs up from everyone passing by. I absolutely love the stance of my truck. Although I will be looking into maybe a 1/2 or 2/3 drop once I can come up with some money. I do love the lifted trucks too!
