Brake/ABS problem

Have an 04 Titan 4X4 with 45K on the clock that is having wierd brake issues. Has anyone had an issue with the brakes intermitantly becoming very spongy, ABS, SLIP, VDC and Brake warning lights all light up and the ABS pump sounds like it's being actuated (producing a wierd creaking noise that you can feel in the peddal). I can turn the ignition off let it set for a little while and start it up and everything is back to normal...till the next time it does rime or reason to the time or place it will do it next. Brake fluid looks good and connections on the booster and ABS pump are tight with no corrosion.
Is there a recal or any TSBs on issues like this? Any help appreciated.

Re: Brake/ABS problem

Thanks for the, did not realize so many were having the same issue. I'm the original owner and don't drive the truck much; primarily for pulling the boat, guess I'm really lucky has'nt happened while towing....Off to the stealership I go with TSB in, this should be a recall; someones gonna get hurt!

Re: Brake/ABS problem

No kidding. Given the bas press that Toyota got you would expect Nissan to be all over this. Fortunately, this seems to occur very rarely.
