Question about TPMS and buying aftermarket Rims.

OK lets say I decide to buy some rims online and the place will mount the tires to the rims and balance them. So, when i get the package and have them put on my truck at a local tire shop what will have to do for my tpms to work or will it be better for me to find rims locally and have them do it there? i really don't know much about the tire monitor system? thanks

I as well am curious to know how the tpms works and how it would effect if I were to buy some set of wheels for my TITAN. I've seen a couple of TITANS with aftermarket rims, but most if not all were like that straight from the dealer. I know this because the only ones i've seen with different rims are the TITANS that come with the cst lift, and this lift is available only in certain dealers. I have also seen a couple of ARMADAS with different rims.I have yet to see a non lifted TITAN with a different set of wheels in southern cali.
