Good performance tire?

What's a good road performance tire that would work okay for occasional off-roading (nothing hard-core)? My local dealer suggested the Toyo Open Country All Terrain, but they're friggin $549 each! ouch... Any others out there I should consider?

$549 each!?!? What size are you buying? Nitto Terra Grapplers and BFG A/Ts I would say would probably be fine for what you need.

Re: Good performance tire?

The Bridgestone Revo's also seem quite popular for an AT tire.

Re: Good performance tire?

BFG AT
Toyo AT
Nitto AT
Goodyear AT

all good choices.

Your dealer is trying to rape you with that price, shop somewhere else.
