So I just moved up to Chicago from the Orlando area and am really glad I brought my Titan. The roads up here suck! I have a totally stock 2WD CC and am not looking to do any major lifting. I was thinking about a 2.5 or 3" spacer and some bigger tires, but I figured while I'm at it I might as well do some wheels, too. I'm not familiar with backspacing and whatnot and while searching the forums, it seems like nobody was really talking much about 2WD Titans. Is this because it's all the same? I figured you could fit more tire on a 4WD when it comes to stock suspension or stock w/level. What size wheel and tire combo do y'all recommend to run a 20 inch wheel on a 33" tire for a 2WD CC? What spacer/leveling kit should I get? There are so many options! Recommendations? I don't do any towing up here and definitely no offroading for this concrete cowboy...

2wd and 4wd models are pretty much the same when it come to wheel and tire fitments. If you level your titan you can run up to a 34" tire without too much trouble. Do you have some wheels in mind?
I was thinking Rockstars, but everyone has them...but I like them either way haha. I was originally going to lower it and do 24s but then out of the blue I ended up getting a great career opportunity up here. I don't know how people drive around Chicago with low profile tires...

If I can run a 34" tire, what size should I be looking at that would yield that diameter? What backspacing will give the least amount of problems for an XD Rockstar?

i had ballistic wizard wheels on my tundra and loved the looks of them...
also a 315-65-18 are probably as close to 34inch you can get on an 18inch wheel
I want to run a 20. I saw packages on eBay with 275/65/20s and I'm reading on F150 forums about Nitto having a 295/60/20. In addition, I've read about people running a 305/55/20. A lot of options out there, obviously, but I'm looking for a good price, long treadlife and a decently improved footprint over stock without having to do any kind of trimming or cutting. Should I just go with the 275/65 which is essentially a 34"?

Go with the 20x8.5 +10mm offset. The 295/60R20 would be a great size for this wheel. There should be little to no rubbing with a leveling kit installed and the tire will fill the wheel well nicely.
PM us if we can help you with the package. We can special order XD wheels and we'll do our best to be competitive for you on the package. Shipping is FREE.

Sounds, great! PM sent! Does the Rockstar come in this offset? I am also looking at Badlands. Does anyone have pics of a 20" wheel on a 34" tire on their 2WD leveled Titan?

oops 20x8.5 + 10mm offset is what I meant to type. The rockstar is available in this size.
Search for titan with 295/70R18, there should be a few on this site. The tires diameter is basically the same as what you are planning to do.
I hate to bring up an old thread, but just want to confirm before I purchase...since it's looking like it'll be so many things at once....
Leveling kit (2.5") or 5100s or 08+ 4x4 Springs or what combination to clear the tires? This will definitely have to get purchased/installed first. Then...
I'm being quoted at $1799 out the door for 20x8.5 Rockstars with 275/60/20 Terra Grapplers by a local dealer. I see that they also sell 275/65/20 Terra Grapplers. I'd much rather have a 34"+ tire than the 32.99 but I don't want to lift too much (if I sleep in, I drive downtown and park in a garage).
