nitto mud grapplers

Ok so the last deal i had to get nitto terra grapplers fell through and i have still been looking. Well i found some nitto mud grapplers. Yes i know there is a big difference b/t a/t and m/t but these tires have a great price at 300 for the set and have 3/4 tread cant really beat it!! But my questions are
1. Has anyone ran these, if so what kind of mileage did you get out of them?
2. I am running a 20x9 or 20x10 rim and i just want to make sure a 33x12.5 and a 33x13.5 will fit on both of those?? The gentleman selling them thinks they are 12.5 which i kinda figure they are since most run that size not 13.5. But just wanted to see what everyone says about these tires and if these will fit my rims! thanks

Re: nitto mud grapplers

I have had 2 sets of mud graps, first set was 35x12.50r18 and the set I'm currently running is 35x12.50r20s. My gas mileage did suffer some but I also have a 3" lift and 3" leveling kit, I'm still getting about 18-20 on highway an 15-16 in town. As for the rims fitting, I think they should but I'm not completely positive.

Re: nitto mud grapplers

wow thanks for the quick response!!! and ok good, im on 20's and just been needing to get newer tires. Hard to pay 1600 dollars for brand new tires when i can spend 3/4 less and get a great looking tire!!! and yeah i expect mpg to go down it happens. I have 08 4x4 springs on the front wit a small leveling kit and plan on getting a 3" BL!! So i will have no problems, and i can do the pwm if i need to!! How fast do you travel on the highway to get that mpg? i would like to get that high! and What air pressure do you run your tires at? I want to get these to last as long as possible

Re: nitto mud grapplers

I go anywhere from 70-80, depends on if I'm in a hurry haha. I like to keep at least 30-35 lbs. 45lbs is alot and the guys at the oil change place put 40 in all of my tires last time I went in and the truck drove like it was off, I had to let some air out. You will notice alot of vibration in the front end after you put the tires on and the noise on the highway will take getting used to. Other than that I absolutely love these tires and are amazing in the sand and mud

Re: nitto mud grapplers

Ok thanks for the update! Yeah ill be running most likely 35 psi then. Yeah i figured with those kind of treads it will be noisey. I read a review that said he was striaght piped and could still hear the tires but that is ok with me. Like you said just part of it you have to get use to!
