excessive brake dust

Is it just me or do these brake pads create a lot of dust. I have never owned a BIG truck before so I am not sure if it is do the the extra weight of these things or just crappy brake pads. I mean I cant even keep my wheels clean for 1 day.

My 98 Tahoe ate through pads like there was no tomorrow.
So far the titan has been better than the Tahoe.

the brake dust will minimize after a few thousand miles. However when it comes time to replace the pads a good carbon fiber material is definitely on my list.

I've noticed a lot less brake dust after the first 1000 miles. Thankfully...

Wax your wheels and it will cut down on the amount of brake dust that the wheel collects. When I get back home I'll take some pics of my wheels. One side is waxed and other is not, the wax side is at the most half as dirty as the non waxed side.

I swapped the front pads to ceramic at 1500 mi and reduced the brake dust by 80%.Also have a harder pedal, waiting for them to make the rear pads.
