Re: stock size rims with oversize tires
Some folks have not had, and will never have, a problem with that size tire on a stock 18" wheel, but I think 12.50's are a little risky and just too big for our stock rims. To each his own, but I think it may be stretching it a bit. I see SC and KY as your location. Are you in the mountains or something where you see a lot of snow in the winter? If you need to make it through winter, stay skinny. Then go get something beefier when you upgrade. I still wouldn't go overly "fat" though. Again, just my opinion. I would think 305's would treat you fine if they have them in the size you end up with.
