I am pissed, last Friday I was discount tire to have mt nitto trail grappler installed (35x12.5x20). I was really excited when I saw all four tires installed on the truck, it looked a whole better then having 33". The minute that they start pulling the my truck out they stopped and pulled it right back in. It was rubbing quite bit. They wanted me to let them trim a chunk of the front lower bumber and a some of the inner fender flare piece to clear it. I told them no. Waited three hours for nothing. I really like the way the nitto trail grappler look on my truck. I am currently running 275/60/20 handbook dynapro at. Discount tire is suggesting that I go with the Goodyear dura trac or the BFGoodrich TKO in the size 275/65/20(34"). I was thinking of going with the Goodyear dura trac instead of the BFGoodrich TKO. What do you guys think? Any other recommendation for tires?
A lot of guys do the trimming, I did the PWM and remolded my fender liners when I went with my new wheels, lower offset, 33" MTs and 1.25" wheel adapters.
With that backspace on your wheels though, I guarantee you the tires were rubbing on your spindles and not the fender or bumper. Recommended rim width is 8"-9" and no more than 4.75" backspace with the MaxTrac and CST spindles.
I've seen guys run 35" Nitto Trail Graps with only a 2" leveling kit with 0 offset on 20x9 wheels.
Or Izzy on TT ran his 35" Toyo OC MT's on 20x10 (I believe) with I think -22 or -24 mm offset with only a 6" lift and no trimming.

Yes indeed it was rubbing after the lift. I order the bora 1.25" wheel adapter so that fixed that problem. I really like the black chrome looks on my truck. I don't really want to get new rims(actually can't afford it at this time). What are your suggestions? Any tires recommendation?

I agree on the trimming, because it is mostly tire diameter that will make a difference, so you would have to go too small of a tire to clear.
With the 6.25" backspacing and a 1.25" Bora wheel adapter, you have an equivalent 5" backspacing, but with the extra wide 9.5" rim that's like the more common 9" width with a 4.5" backspacing. So even going down to the Trail in a 34.45" LT295/60R20, you will probably still rub. But with a 33.4" LT305/55R20, you'll probably fit, but they would look too small with a 6.5" lift, (to me anyway).
I might go with the 295 to trim less and retain more power though.

Thanks Norcal, I will look into this. Which tires do you recommend?

Figured since you were looking at the Trails I'd mention a couple of the sizes they come in, (in my previous post). I haven't tried the Trails, just their cousins the Toyo M/T, which I liked a lot, except for their weight. I didn't like the traction on the Nitto A/T's though, (the Terra Grapplers). Aftermarket siping helped them in the rain, and I'd get that done on the Trails too, at least at the end of the dry season.
By the 295's, I meant the LT295/60R20 that would fit a little easier, (less trimming), than for the 35x12.5R20, and they'd be somewhat lighter too.
