Chromed stock rims

Has anyone had their factory rims chromed? Just curious on how durable this "after market" chroming is. They have the five spoke rim and the six spoke available.

Seems very pricy. $600 + shipping(x2) + $500 deposit. I's earch for a local shop before I paid that much. You could buy a new set of aftermarket wheels for not much more that than.

I have thought about aftermarket rims.....so many to choose from! Plus the bling factor is something Im kind of steering away from. I figured I could get away with the chromed factory rims but it is a little pricey. Wish I could see a truck with the chrome factory rims installed.

There was a thread about this same thing about a month ago. There were a number of suppliers listed in that thread if I recall. You might want to give the search function a whirl. Good luck. I suspect I too will do this someday. I like the 5-spoke OEM wheel, but just think with all the other chrome on the truck Nissan should have done this at the factory...

A friend of mine runs a place that has our wheels, chromed, in stock. The price is $500 exchange for the 17" off road, and $600 exchangefor the 18". The name of the place is Westlake Village Motoring, ph 818-597-0211. Ask for Jack

OEM rims on E-bay came down when I talked to them to $550 a set + $160 shipping on the LE style rim.

I bought the chrome OEM rims from a company on ebay and sent them back my old ones. I had a great transaction and only paid $450.00 with shipping for all 4 rims. Here is a picture of how they look on my truck.
WildcatTitan got a deal!

I cant get OEM to get even close to that.

anyone checked these out http://www.mc2ning.com/nissan/titan.html I really like the N2 both are 20s that are chromed but not too bling. The sell them at Nissan dealerships. I am interested but don't know how much they should cost though. Nice thins is they retain the nissan emblem for a semi-stock look.
