Stuck pedal

I had to lock up the brakes twice this weekend on the interstate. When I did, ABS kicked in and acted appropriatley but when I let off the pedal, it stayed to the floor for a few seconds both times! All I could do was hope that I stopped in time until the pedal came back up. Any ideas?

I think its normal after reading the service manual. it says we have a sensor that detects speed of brake application and if you are really hitting the brakes hard the titan actually takes over the brakes and applies them harder and faster than you normally would. then it takes a second or two to let off as electrons fly around the network. kinda goes along with the safety finding that most people don't get onthe brakes hard and soon enough in an emergency situation. So, the old titan does just about everything for you on its own. I have also experienced this. it felt to me like the pedal just ran away from my foot and went down very hard.

I had this happen to me last week. Scared the C.R.A.P. out of me. Good to know this so next time it will not be such a surprise.

also, if you are going less than 6 miles per hour, a full-on hard stop will not activate the ABS and you will squall the front tires. also kind of a shock if you expect ABS to be working....
