How do I test the brake actuator?

Hi, I have a whole set of dash-lights that are on brake, slip and ABS
I have always had the truck this way, and did not care to much about it. Now I found maybe 10000 threads about it and have tested some stuff:

- I went to the dealer, he resetted the thing and thought it was the right front sensor. I replaced the sensor after the lights came back on, did not help...
- I unplugged the wiring at the actuator and tested all connecting: they are all good.
- I took out the ABS fuse, something to do with possitioning, ran it for 1 mile, nothing changed...

So how do I go on now? Actuator?
I am in Belgium, most dealers here have never seen such a car and can't help me.

The truck is a 2005 2WD LE.

Thank you,

Jan

Re: How do I test the brake actuator?

First thing I would check is brake fluid level. Has the truck ever had the pads replaced?

Re: How do I test the brake actuator?

Mine did the same thing when I broke one (or more) of the sensor wires on the rear axle.

Re: How do I test the brake actuator?

Hi,
topped off the fluid and checked all the wiring.

I also read about the sensor near the fluid container that could be faulty, how do I test that?

I always read about brake, Slip and VDC lights mine is ABS.

It had the front pads and pads replaced just before I bought it.
