Question Anyone with dedicated winters?

Anyone here enjoy driving in snow? Anyone put a few snow miles on the titan with OR particularly. But if you put on snows I really want to hear your feedback, what you went with and your overall impression..
Thanks

OR tires were very good in snow for me here in Boston. I'm not planning to use true winter tires.
Enjoy snow? Yea, my Porsche 944 with 4 narrow snow tires and lim slip dif was quite fun. Of course it's ability was limited by the front air dam plowing the snow's depth and density. Same with an old RX7.

I drove in the snow yesterday with the stock 18" tires and had no problems. But after they are done I plan on switching to BFG All Terrains.

I wouldn't say I "enjoy" driving in the snow, but I don't absolutely hate it either. It's just something you have to do here in Utah.

My stock 285/70/17 BFG Rugged Trails (which suck bad) handled great in the snow last week. When they're gone, I plan on switching to Nitto Terra Grapplers, which will be far superior.

If I didn't have 4WD, though, I'd throw a few sand bags in the bed and go with a studded snow tire. The Titan has so much low-end torque that my truck gets a little squirly in 2WD under slick conditions.

Fo,

I got a set of Wintercat 265/70-R17s for my SE. They're on a nice set of used Centerline wheels; the wheels look so good it's making me wonder if I should just switch to 17s anyway...

Here's the thread:
18" Snow Tires

You're going to find that the Titan will go past a lot of other 4WD'ers out there; particularly one truck whose 'name' starts with F... the torque split on their diffys never has been right. Watch one on an icy street sometime.
Nissan has been known for years in my part of the country as being as good as an old Jeep for getting around. My wife's Pathfinder is practically unstoppable, (except by bad judgement). The Titan carries on that tradition really well.

I bought them locally from a place called SWIS tire in Castle Rock, Colorado. They had to order them, but they matched the best Internet price I could find w/ road hazard coverage. From what I found, the Cooper comes in closer to the stock size tire to fit the OEM off-road wheels than the Bridgestone snow tires. Also the Bridgestone's are hard to find because a factory apparently caught fire.

Prices vary depending on size & load rating. I was looking here:

https://www.tiresavings.com/tireShop...overer+M %2BS

Some of the sizes are LT rated, as you can see here:

You might try going to a local place and see if they will order & match the price (assuming you need somebody to mount & balance anyway). I talked to a guy that plows with an F-250 using Coopers and he says they are great even w/o studs.

Here in Upstate, home of the lake effect snow, we can go from nothing to a couple of feet of snow overnight. I have too many summer toys that all have multiple tires and wheels for street and track so I have always kept my truck to one set of sneakers. Although I do not have a Titan yet, these things have been great on my Nissan XE-V6 4x4 KC, summer and winter.

BFG All Terrain T/A KO

But I must admit, when I get the Titan I'm contemplating giving these a try. The T/A KO are great, but they could be better when hitting a deep puddle, and I'm a huge Bridgestone fan for my cars

It has been three years so take this with a grain of salt.
My brother and I both bought dueler A/T's (bronco+ F250)and were very dissapionted with wear, traction and the amount of flats.
