Yeah, Yeah....It was just a comment.

Bottom line, these rotors and possibly calipers suck! I dont care who made them.

3000 miles since TSB performed and so far so good. I have been pulling a light trailer for hunting but no judder yet.

Titan Brakes

Looks like I am not alone with the brake shudder on my
Titan. They just did the rear rotors on mine after 10000 miles. The fronts were done at 4700 miles. I hope this works since I really enjoy my Titan.
I have also had alot of tire balance issues on my 17" tires. They have been balanced now 6 times over the 10,000 miles and I still have the shake and hop going down the road.

I haven't received my '05 yet so this is just a guess. As a master tech i can tell you most problems with shudder have to do with how they are tightened. You don't just torque them down to specs one at a time. You take 'em down in stages with the last go around to specs, otherwise, Shudder.

I don't like my stock 17" wheels also.....they seem to need a warm-up before they settle in..but still I feel wobbles at certain speeds. On my last truck which was a T100 I used to get them road force tested at balance time as they had a super computer wheel balancer......it was hard to find 4 tires that would pass this test and many were failed by this computer......If you haven't tried on I recommend it..and Toyota will balance NISSANs also...get the paper print-out when you do it. I also found that no tire dealers had the computer..reason...about 1/2 of the tires would go back to the manufacturer.....and they would have less business.....it's a dog-eat-dog world eh?????!!!

You'llm probably find they're not tigthening the lugnuts in stages. Some new tech is probably laying on the impact and wacking each down to specs. If you find a model vehicle with this tendency, you take'em down in stages ,evenly, until you reach the desired toque. Believe me when I tell you this is not a new problem.
