This tire won't fit, will it?
I was looking for snow tires today and the tire dealer said that the only thing he could find to fit the truck was a 225 / 55 /17. My calculations show that tire to be about 4" shorter than the XE tires and 6" shorter than the LE or Off road tires. I think I'll keep looking to find the right size.
Any body else having any luck finding winter tires? I have an LE with the 18" wheels and cant find any snow tires for that. I am buying some 17" wheels and am having trouble finding snow tires for that. Any suggestions? |

Used Search, and advance search, for thread title for "winter" and later "snow". There are some that sound closer to OEM size, but I think you're right about 17" rims.
