17x9 rim w/ +2mm offset, will it fit?

I found a great deal on some new wheels for my 04 CC 4x4 w/ OR and stock suspension. the wheels are 17x9 w/ +2mm offset and 108.2mm center bore. on this size wheel 0mm offset should be 5" of backspacing but isn't it possible that +2mm (mm=really small) could be 5" of backspacing.
also, can anyone advise me on whether that bore size is big enough?
thanks for whatever help you can give me!
I want the wheel to look good now and be suitable for installation of a lift kit in the future.

2mm is equivalent to 0.01"; that's nothing. BS on this wheel is basically half of the rim width, or 4.5". for the cst lifts, they request 8" wide with 5" BS...so you are an inch wider with half-inch less BS and this might be a problem. they also suggest a 315/70/17 equivalent so you don't need a rim that is wider with a lower BS if you don't intend on using a "bigger" tire.

the formula that i've always heard is rim width + 1" divided by 2 equals backspacing with 0 offset. anyone agree or disagree? I think I am more afraid of getting wheels that have too narrow a bore in the center.

I don't want to sound like some type of "scavenger", but what are you planning to do with your old factory wheels? I've been looking for a set....I'm LA based.

so, I went outside and measured the centerbore of my spare under the truck and I get 76.5mm The wheels I found and want to buy have a center bore of 108.2mm
what happens if the center bore of the wheel is bigger than it needs to be?
I REALLY want to buy these wheels!

hmm. A related question. I would like to go to an 18"x9" wheel to get some wider off-roadable tires.
Before I go to the wheel store, I would like to be armed with some CORRECT information in case they try to sell me whatever they have in stock. What is going to be the correct back spacing, lug pattern, and any other pertinant rim measurement I will need to ask for, seeing as how most tire shops don't have alot of listings for Titan compatibility yet? Thanks alot fot the info.

you need a wheel with a bolt pattern of 6x5.5" I am not sure what that is in the metric equivalent but it's the same as Chevrolet 6 lug trucks (all years). aftermarket wheels have large bores to accomodate many types of trucks so you'll want (but not really need) the "hub-centric rings" to adapt the hub size to your Nissan. the distance from the mounting surface (inside the wheel) to the edge of the lip (also inside) should be five inches or less (called backspacing) if you want to be able to lift it with the new wheels somewhere down the road.

Great! Thanks. It sounds like the less back spacing, the farther the wheel/tire will protrude from the fender (looking down the side of the truck).

that's right. another term you will likely run into is offset. 0 offset means that the hub mounting surface on the wheel is right in the middle of the wheel. so a 17x9" wheel w/ 0 offset has about 4.5" of backspacing (a 17x9" wheel isn't going to be exactly 9 inches wide). so the same wheel with +8 offset has backspacing of 4.5" +8mm (whatever that is).
