004 Crew Cab LE.. 20x9's w 325/50/20's

I think I can do this, and appreciate feedback b4 I invest. I have a 2004 LE CC, with PRG lift, and am looking at 20 x 9 rims, and Hankook Ventus RH06 325/50/20 rubber which is ....WIDE..(diameter is about the same, 32.6 vs 32.79.

Accordingly, I would want it to fit well, and look even better. By using this calculator, and comparing the stock 18x8 rims with a 25 offset and the stock 10.5 inch wide 265/70/18's against some new choices, this would fit, and finding a rim with the right offset, could be ok on clearance.

http://350zx.com/tire-wheel.html

The new sidewall size is 6.4 inches vs stock 7.3 inches, so I lose .9 overall. The width with these new tires would be 12.8 vs 10.5 on the stock tires.

Now if I could figure out how to get the right offset so I could turn without rubbing.....

Input is really appreciated by those in the know...

They will fit if you want to trim.
The width is what will make them scrape more than the height. The scraping comes in at halfway turned. At this point, the edge of the tire will rub the inner rear fender wells. Mine do and mine are 20 mm narrower than yours. I needed a heat gun to melt my inner tire wells to fit. You will need to cut or lift.

Also, that wide will stick out the sides. Mine stick out slightly and I get some spray from rain/etc streaking on the doors. I need flares from a qx56 to fix this. You will need flares or rocks will rip up your door paint.

So, if I'm PRG Lifted, does that change the rub issue? And that note about dirty doors, good point! Perhaps I'm a bit to WIDE eyed about this and need a bit skinnier version....

Many of the wheel/tire combos around here are 305/55R20. This ultimately yields a tire height of 33.2 inches. With the PRG lift, I have not heard of anyone reporting rubbing issues. The only issue left would be the backspacing on the wheel. It will definitely fit and if you see any issues with rubbing once you mount them, simply do a little trimming. It will fix you right up.

I know he's lifted. Lifted with 305/55/20 would be fine. But not sure with the 325s. And that still won't change the fact that they will be sticking out the sides. Where mine rub the surface is verticle. Lifting it 2.5" vertically wouldn't change the rub factor. Trimming should make them work in the end but I'd go for the 305 over the 325 anyway. They look plenty mean and fill out he space nicely.

This calculator that I just found out about may help you on the offset choices: http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html

I see that your other one does offset as well, but there are too many parameters there for me, I like looking at one variable at a time
