Been looking around for new OR tires and finding out 285/70R17 is an odd size! What are you guys using? I want Bridgestone Dueller A/T's! Do you think the manufacturers will catch on to this size? Is there an alternative size up without changing stock config.? Thanks!

If your wanting to use your stock rims, I believe there are some users here that use 295/60/R17.

there are a couple of tires but not many that have the 285/70-17 but there are some. There is the nitto 295/70 17 but from what I hear they are on backorder for some and some have them in. They are a little less money than a BFG replacement. It is not much bigger than the stock size.

I have Cooper Discoverer studded M & S LT275/70R17 on at the moment. They were fine for the winter.
Cooper has a LT285/70/17 in the Discoverer STT tire. I don't know if they are any good or not. www.coopertires.com
I decided to go with BFG based on comments on this forum and reviews at www.tirerack.com
Also, the Cooper dealer closest to my house forgot to put the lug nuts back on the left front when they were mounting the M&S tires, resulting in about a month in the body shop. So hi ho, hi ho, it's off to BFG I go.
