Tire pressure warning light...does it ever turn off?

So I get some new rims and tires and now the low pressure warning light won't turn off. Tire pressure is at 45-50 psi. Is the high pressure jacking up the system?

These sensors suck! I can't get them to quit leaking. And now that I have enough pressure the stupid light won't go off. What the hell?

Its probably too late now, but i did NOT have them installed in my new rims and the light only comes on after about 50-60 miles and no chime or anything too annoying. I run 25-28 psi in my tires and i figured it would always be bugging me.

Yeah, if I can't find a way to get the light off I'm going to have normal valve stems installed in their place. These things are more bother than they are worth.

I also didn't have mine installed on my wheels. I went camping this weekend and drove about 60-70 minutes and the light never even came on.

We've had this issue here on similar wheels. Basically, the sensors do not fit correctly in the hole in the wheel for the stem, so you need to use an o-ring to help seal it up. trouble is finding an o-ring that fits well. Once you do, and you get it to seal, you need to often times re-set the sensors at the dealer. Even then, the lights still come on every now and then. Most people just take the sensors out altogether, and just put regular stems in. I don't exactly know why the sensor light still comes on once everything is working fine, it could be the distance between the sensor and the pick up unit, the pressure in the tire, a few different things, i'm not really sure....
Even our service manager's titan had the same issue, so he just removed the sensors altogether.
It's a pain, i don't like sensors n-e-more hehe

Do you run this PSI for off roading or daily driving? I run 30 to 32 PSI for daily driving and always get a hard time from people telling me to go 36+ PSI...
