Another Black rim question: Does anybody have these???

I'm wondering if anyone has these rims? They're American Racing Victor 17x8 Black. If you do can you post a few pics. I have a Pearl White CC and I want to go with black rims. I also want to go with 35. I talked to Greg at PRG while he was installing my front kit and said I probably wouldn't have a problem if I kept my stock off road 17 rims.

Just not sure what I want yet. I'm still thinking about powder coating my stock rims black which would be less than $100.00 per wheel.

Thanks for any help or comments.

those rims would look sick on a white titan. buy them. i'm not a big fan of the stock rims, and the ones with the polished edge look great.

I saw those same rims at PepBoys the other day. I too thought they would look really good on my white CC. I did see them on a black *cough, cough* f-150. But they did look good.

You can see how some wheels would look like on a Titan with the interactive wheel system from tires.com

I actually went there. They seem to be very limited on what fits with the Titan and I didn't see any black rims. Did you see any?

Thanks for the input,
DJ

IMO, you'd be better off ordering an aluminum rim by Eagle Alloy or the 4wheel parts brand and then getting them powdered coated a flat black. I got a quote from a place near my house to do my aluminum wheels for $50 each. You could spend $450 for the rims including shipping and then $200 for powdercoating and have a unique look. Plus I think the Teflon thing by American Racing is pretty much a scam.

Yeah, it will look good but I don't know how durable it will be. Powdercoating will be more durable and requires virtually the same prep work so it will be close to the same price.

When Greg from PRG was putting on my front leveling kit I mentioned to him about Powder coating the OEM 17" rims. They should be alright and I'm still thinking about it.
I also like the way ptgarcia black beadlocks and Pro Comp looks too! Here's a stupid question, can the beadlocks be added to the OEM rims?
