Anyone running a 17x9 wheel with 0 offset and no lift ?

I know a bunch of guys have 17x9 wheels, but does anyone have ones with 0 offset (aka 5" backspace). I'm looking to get some wheels and I want to make sure they won't stick out too far or rub.
Pics would be great..

I don't have 17x9's, but my 17x8's with 0 offset (4.5" backspacing) and with 33x12.50's they stick out about 3/4", and they rubbed (without some trimming) with a 2.5" leveling kit.

Re: Anyone running a 17x9 wheel with 0 offset and no lift ?

I'm running 17 x 9s with +2mm offset (basically 0) and my stock BFG rugged trails rubbed a tiny bit (never worried about it)
Now the 315 70 / 17 BFG All- Terrains that I just got today- those are probably going to rub a lot.

Re: Anyone running a 17x9 wheel with 0 offset and no lift ?

I just mounted my Mickey Thompson Classic Lock 17x9 (4.5" Backspacing) on Pro Comp Extreme A/T's 305/65R17 (33.2x12.4) and they rub slightly in the back of the front wheel well while turning hard. No rubbing on the bumper, fender or the stock mud flaps. I have the stock offroad package, but will be installing the DR Coilovers soon. I will let you know if the extra 2.5" lift helps, but I doubt it will. I'm thinking a hammer and some self-tapping screws will help pull the inner plastic shroud away from the tire....

But I can tell you, this wide of a rim and such a little backspacing leaves my tires protruding out from the body around 2".
