Tire size & speedo

Have been researching tire options from this site and others for a couple of months. Have learned a lot but still need a little help. My OEM 265/70/18 tires are shot and I have experienced the same problems as everybody else. With the stock OEM's my speedo is off 2 mph. At 73, I'm going 75. The odometer is off as well and for every 10 miles it is off .5 miles to the negative. Will going to slightly smaller dia. tire such as a 275/65/18 bring the speedo and odometer back in line or exaggerate the difference?

The new tire size would make your spedo read 60 when it reads 59 now so the problem would be worse by 1.6%.
