Stock lugnuts on aftermarket wheels?

Is anyone using the stock Nissan chrome lugnuts on their aftermarket wheels?
I know this seems like a silly question, but I don't want to waste $50 if I don't need to.
Thanks,
- Nealio

Re: Stock lugnuts on aftermarket wheels?

I could not use mine because they taper down from the six sides. The ones I needed had a flared out base, I think they were called acorn style. If I used the factory nuts I might have lost a wheel! The reason the wheels didn't come with the correct nuts is because the wheels I have were for a GM half-ton truck/SUV. I have a set of nuts for them, but the Titan has a different thread pattern.

I would invest in a $50 set of lock/keyed lugs if your wheels are worth much. I sleep better knowing I have them on my rig.

I lose sleep worrying about losing the key.

I could not use mine with the Centerlines. I have to carry some factory lugs in case I have to use my spare tire.
