another brake TSB story/question
I went in to have my brakes fixed after i experienced the "judder" after 5000 mi.
I did read the tsb's and most of the threads here on the forum, so i went into the service department prepared.
I ask the service guy if he was going to replace the front rotors and all the pads as it states in the TSB and he said he would.
Come to find out as i pick up my truck, that they just replaced the pads and resurfaced the rotors.
After questioning the service guy why he hadn't exchanged the rotors, he replied, that my truck is a later 05 model and it already has the upgraded rotors.
I asked for a copy of the TSB and i showed him that my vin # was within the range of the TSB and he gave me some bull**** story that i did have the new rotors and he had never anyone come back a second time blah, blah.
what to you think, should i demand to get new rotors or should i wait until i get the judder again, or is it fixed the way they did it?
