marc,
If you are referring to aftermarket wheels not having pressure sensors, no problem - two ways to go.
One, install your wheels and ignore the dash light (piece of tape to cover?) indicating problem with tire pressure. The alarm buzzer will not sound, it is only activated when a pressure sensor senses a low (28psi) tire. No sensors present, only warning light is activated.
Two, have the tire shop remove the sensors from factory wheels and see if possible to install in the aftermarket wheels, the sensor is built into the valve stem. Some wheels have a good fit for sensor, some require an additional gasket, and some are not compatible, size wise to fitting the sensor and those put you back to option one. Good Luck.

But after I got home from getting everything mounted one tire went completely flat, I'd say about 6 hours later. Had America's Tire fix that and now the light won't go off. I paid Nissan $80 to diagnose the problem. They said one of the sensors was bad, so I bought a new one from them, spent another $80. I had to take it to America's Tire because Nissan won't touch your aftermarket rims. America's Tire swapped out the bad sensor for $10 or so. I brought the truck back to Nissan to get the light reset and they told me another sensor is bad and they want another $80 to tell me which one. I said F-you and went home. Now I wish I had never put the damn things back on!
Les Schwabs broke one of my sensors on install, and they paid for the new one. I haven't had any issues since then. I like having the sensors after I picked up a screw one day on the freeway and the warning system warned me I had a low tire. By the time I pulled over it was completely flat and was coming off the rim.

man that sucks. you already paid them to diagnose then they tell you it's another one.
I figured my problem out. I had 1 tire with a small leak on the sensor. 1 bubble every 45 seconds. they fixed it and no stupid light now.
they are a PITA though.

The BCM can identify the location of the sensors. When they are programed there is a LF, RF, RR, LR. If you do not install them in the exact same place as they were originally, and the low tire light comes on, it will read RF flat tire when the tire that is on the LR is the one that is low.

I picked up a roofing nail on the interstate the other day and I'm really glad I had the sensors. I was warned and watched the psi slowly fade as I hauled *** to the next exit and pulled into a Firestone dealer to have it repaired. Had that not warned me I would have ran it all the way down then had to change it to make it to the repair shop. I would have been fine doing that but a little less headache in the day is a good one for me. Thank you tire pressure sensor, I like you alot.

I got a flat and it didn't say anything like this. Just a light on the dash..."low tire" no RF, LF.....And I have the Navi, when I flipped to the tire screen is displayed one at 20psi...still no RF, LF ...I don't think your correct (I wish you were), where did you get your info? As far as I can tell the system doesn't care where the tire is.
