Re: Post pictures of your Wheels!

Heres a couple pics of our race truck and the wheels and tires it has been on. It has always been on 35's but we started with BFG Baja T/A's with stock wheels and then went to Yokohama All Terrains with some shiny 16" polished wheels and currently we are running Yokohama Mud Terrains and 16" American Racing Black Teflon Coated Mojaves. Liked all the looks, but my favorite is the Muds and Black Mojaves.

Re: Post pictures of your Wheels!

For a true off-road look I like the first set - after all they took second in the '04 Baja 1000 - stock full. Seems like they work out well.

We would love to have stock wheels on the truck but Yokohama doesnt make a 35" tire for a 17" wheel and now American Racing is a major Sponsor and we are getting many more sets of these wheels and tires to throw on all of our chase trucks too.

Re: Post pictures of your Wheels!

just curious JP, how is god's name did you get the 16" wheels to fit over the OEM calipers? i've heard some with 17" wheels were having trouble so how were you able to fit 16"ers?

oh it was very tough. they actually rub in the rear, there are marks on the inside of wheels from the caliper rotating. It would be much nicer if Yokohama made a 35" tire with a 17" wheel, it would clear up a lot of stuff. Truck is sponsored by Yokohama and Tires are free so were not gonna go back to another tire. Only had a total of 2 flats with the Yokohamas.

Thanks! Here's a side view. The combo actually looks quite a bit larger in porportion to the truck when you see it in person for some reason...

Those seven spoke wheels look great. On the pic of your truck back in post #113, the wheel/tire combo looks bigger than the side shot to me.
