I'm looking at them as an alternative if I lift my truck and keep my 22 inch wheels. they're cheaper in price to nittos and toyos and just came out recently.
kumho's site it compares to these tires
Goodyear Wrangler AT/S
Michelin LTX AT
BFGoodrich Radial All-Terrain T/A
Bridgestone Dueler A/T
Toyo M-55
Hankook Dynamic AT

They seem to be a really good tire. There is a titan by me with a 6 inch lift with those on it 325/50/22 and they look like they would be a really good tire. It looked fairly aggressive but not to bad so it would still be good on the street. I know a few people running them on other trucks and they have all been pleased with them as far as price, mileage, and performance.
I've seen the New version of KUMHO road venture MT in 4 wheeler magagize.
It looked nice.. so I emailed KUMHO when It would be on the market.
Haven't got any reply yet.
Just for your infomation. KUMHO is one of the Big korean company.
If you stop by Garden Grove in CA.THERE are many korean tire shops who carrys KUMHO TIRE. Just ask them How much they ask you, You may get
good price. They have all kinds of tires, But Kumho is major brand They 've been seling and installing..
Good luck.

Sorry to be the opposing voice, but I highly would not remmond anything Kuhmo. I had A perfectly good, properly maintained tire blow up on my f250 powerstoke while driving 75 miles an hour on the interstate. What happened? About 1700.00 repair bill not counting the towing. Driver rear tire blew - It tore up my rear fender \quarter panel , gas filler pipe , ripped out everything plastic and chrome such as trim and wheel well , dented the fire out of my pickup bed bottom. Im thankful it was 6 AM and no one else was on the road. It was very scary. IMO spend A few extra bucks, your safety is worth it. Why do you think the Kuhmo are so much cheaper ? My father retired from BFG - 35 years - He said that the cheaper tire companies are more likely to use low grade rubber or rubber that wasn,t manafactuered to stantards .Such as remelting and put it in another batch if it didn'nt come out like it should. Good tire = peace of mind. Your worth it.
hey thanks for the input. that is scary sounding. I think these tires are made in Korea so their overhead is cheaper just like how things are made in China and other east asian countries. I know it definitely cost more to do things in the US so the price has to reflect it as well.Quality question I can't debate though.
again thanks for the input.

That's too bad. However this can happen to any tire though, and has.
You could have had a nail in your tire without knowing. Anything could have happened.

That sucks bro, but you could have run over anything and caused that. No offense man. I know a few people that live and breath tires that think pretty highly of Kumho. You might want to check out Sumitomo as well. They have some lower price options.
Better name does not always mean better tire either. I just got new tires on my wife's car that had Aquatred 3s on it, and those were 70K mile tires. One tire was starting to separate! This is only after 3 years with a rotation every four months as directed by Goodyear. The guy at the tire shop told me that they were having problems with wear with those tires. He also said that tires only have a shell life of 5 to seven years. So, if the tire sits in a warehouse for a year or two you got 3 to 5 years left in them.

personally the only goodyear tire that I would ever put on a vehicle is the mtr. Kumho has become a pretty good tire. I ran them on my mustang and civic and never had a problem. As far as blowing out, either you had a nail in it and it decided to go then or it was seporated, which you should have felt a vibration before it ever gave out from it being so far out of round, either way just because you had one tire blow out from something that most likely wasnt the manufactures fault doesnt mean its still not a good tire.
