got my bushwackers but miss my mud flaps..

I recently installed the bushwackers, which I really like. Has anyone modified any mud flaps with these. My truck still gets rocks thrown on the lower sides.
Lots of gravel out here in Colorado and looking for a little extra protection. Shoot me some ideas or pics, please.

cant you just tap a hole and a screw in and throw some double sided tape on to get the flaps working again?

Re: got my bushwackers but miss my mud flaps..

I have Bushwackers and I just went to Autozone and bought the large black plastic universal mudflaps. I attached them using two of the original screws that now attach the flares. It looks good to me and protects the paint. I didn't think the OEM flaps were long enough anyway.

I did the same as Titantrooper. It looks better than OEM flaps.

Re: got my bushwackers but miss my mud flaps..

I have so got to do this.

I can't even explain how damaged my paint is after just 14,000 miles on the rear fender, just infront of the wheel opening where the body flairs out and down. This extruded shape has caught a ton of road debris and it looks like the area has been sandblasted.

I'm going to have to have the area repainted and I just have to hope it can be done and blended into the rest of the fender so it does not look repainted.

I'm thinking I'll put some of the 3M film on the area before I put the Bushwackers on so make sure that entire flaired out shape stays protected.

The guy at www.duraflap.com is pretty nice. The site says no flaps for imports, but I got some flaps from him. (I guess he knows the Titan is made in the USA) He will customize the flaps to length for lifts. They are nice flaps, but not cheap. You can get artwork on them if so inclined.
