I kinda like the flames personally. Since my Titan is also my company truck (Dragonfire Racing Development), I think they will go quite well. Plus, I was looking for a tire size that won't rub with the 18x9 moto metal wheels with only a leveling kit, and won't effect my mileage. These should come close I reckon.

Because those tires are generally used by unlimiteds with big HP. Less agressive tread allows the tires to slip a little for less shock wear and tear on the drivetrain. Big HP also tends to rip off lugs and chunk. The more solid tread also gives you more to work with when grooving for specific tracks or conditions.
Sidewall lugs are great for mud and rock crawling but that stuff is not really needed in desert racing, its all about speed.
I saw the Dune Grappler at SEMA. It looks pretty cool. Maybe a little "showy", but my major concern is what will they look like after 10,000 or 15,000 miles on them? Will the flames on the tread be worn down and connect with full size flames on the side wall? Not really sure about that.
