Re: Kumho 325/60r18's Niceee

It looks great! I was just looking at those tires online yesterday myself. It is a pain to find tires for the factory 18" wheels. How is the ride, road noise, etc?

Re: Kumho 325/60r18's Niceee

Man those tires look awesome!! I am so glad somebody finally was able to fit 325's on the stock 18's. After I get DR's I'll try those or the procomp extreme at 325's if I decide to stay with an 18" wheel. I'm still debating on that or going up to a 20". What is the approved rim width for those tires? The procomp is 8", but the nittos are 9". Hopefully those are 8" as well.

Re: Kumho 325/60r18's Niceee

Those are nice. Not as wide as the 325 ProComp Xtreme A/Ts. I think the ProComps are closer to 13.5 where as the Kumhos look more like 13" or less. How much do those run?

Re: Kumho 325/60r18's Niceee

I GOT THEM THRU WHOLESALE TIRE COMPANY AND PAID 178.00 EACH.. YOU CAN FIGURE ANYWHERE FROM 25 TO 40 PERCENT MARK UP FROM SOME PLACES...THEY ARE ACTUALLY VERY SMOOTH AND FAIRLY QUIET.. I DROVE ABOUT 300 MILES ON THEM TO FLA. AND COULD HARDLY TELL THE DIFFERANCE FROM THE GOODYEARS.. THEY WOULD DO BETTER ON A 9" RIM BUT THEY MOUNT FINE ON 8"s JUS BE CAREFULL WITH THE AIR PRESSURES TO MUCH WILL MAKE THEM CROWN ..

Nice! Are these the ones you have?

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....e1=yes&place=0

The pictures look different from yours. They are $177 each but shipping and mounting will probably add another $150-200.

Those look to be the right ones. The KL78 are the newest ones. I got a quote from Americas Tires for $201 each, mounted, balanced, and their insurance (free lifetime rotation, balancing, punture repair and tire replacement) included. I think I may go for a set.

Re: Kumho 325/60r18's Niceee

THE ONES IN THE ADD ARE THE OLDER ONES. THE ONES I GOT ARE THE NEW VERSION AND THEY ARE BW BOTH SIDES .. I PAID 170.00 EACH AND MOUNTED THEM MYSELF.. i SUGGEST ASKING FOR THEM TO BE ROAD FORCE VARIATION BALANCING. I HAD TO TURN 2 OF THEM SEVERAL TIMES TO GET THE BEST FITMENT. THEY COME WITH THE RED DOT TO MARK THE TIRE AND ALIGNING THAT WITH THE VALVE STEM WORKED FOR 2 OF THEM BUT 2 I HAD TO PUT IT AT 2' CLOCK FROM THE VALVESTEM. THEY DIDNT TAKE AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF WEIGHT EITHER WHICH PLEASENTLY SURPRISED ME... STILL NO RUB ISSUES.. I AM HAPPIER THAN A HOG IN IN FRESH MUD IN JULY....

Thanks for the pics man, they look better than I thought they would. What PSI do you run them? Also, if you had to guess, how much more heavy are they than the GYs?

Re: Kumho 325/60r18's Niceee

I have been playin with the pressures.. started at 32 and truck felt a little loose in the rear side to side.. bumped em up to 40 which is the recommened ressure for the tire and seems be a stiffer better ride.. they are alotttt heavier than OE I could barely lift the damn things to get them back on the truck... they are also 8 ply where the goodyears are 6ply

doesnt seem like it it actually is very flat .. At 32 it was actually sagging in the middle and wearing more on the outside..
