moto metal 951-17x9" -12mm offset/33x12.5" truxus MT or 13.5 Irok radial/SSR 33x12.5?

wondering if the moto metal 951 will work with one of these tires? also if I got a leveling kit and possibly small body lift? I removed the flaps allready and have an 05 crew xe 4x4 OR package if any of that makes a diff. thanks a bunch.

I've tried to understand offsets and backspacing. from what I read close to 5" backspace is ideal, 17"s won't all clear front calipers, wider rims will cause more rubbing... and is there anything else that may help me. I don't really understand how to calculate -12 offset to my backspace but I'm guessing it's the wrong spacing and with any of the tires I like it won't work

but I'm also wanting some 35" Mudd Grapplers in the end anyway lol. so we'll see what happens. any comments would be great. thanks a bunch!

The stock tire (17 X 7.5) for your vehicle has I believe 5" BS or a 25MM offset. I'll assume you're talking about a 17 X 9 Moto Metal 951 with -12MM offset. That should equate to a 4.25" BS. However when I look that rim up it seems to me it comes in -18mm, 0mm, 15mm, and 30mm offsets. http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_wheel...etal&model=951 which I believe corresponds to 4", 4.75", 5.25", and 5.75" BS Big Dog is running those wheels with 35" tires and a 6" lift.

since I don't understand which means what, what would be the best in 9"? the most possible I'm guessing? 4 wheel parts has them on employee pricing but I think it's only in the one backspacing? I'll call them and ask. but I'm figuring the more backspace the better for wider possibly taller tires?
