Do U have a balance problem?
I posted awhile back to see if anyone had used beads or powders to balance their tires and no one responded they had, so I guess I'm a beta tester of sorts....
I Installed dyna beads today. 1st impression is they do a pretty good job!
The details:
My tires have been out of balance since installed (see sig for specs). I've had them balanced a few times, the last being the best job, but still not good enough for me. I had a lot of wobble and shake at various speeds.
I left any and all existing weights on the wheels, and put 10oz in each front tire. I did NOT go through the valve stem, because I have the tire pressure monitors on the new wheels, and I don't know how they work, so I didn't want to chance it. I could not find a single local tire shop willing to break the bead for me to install the product, so I was stuck doing it myself with a boss' help. It is a horrible horrible job, and I gave up after getting the front two tires done. I still have some wobble but only at a speed range of about 5-7 mph which is a HUGE improvement over what it was.
So, while dynabeads didn't completely fix the balance issue, they have made a big enough improvement for me to recommend them to anybody with issues. If somebody can give me detailed info on the tire pressure sensors and/or pics of the unit that would be great...I just don't want to fill the little box with the beads and make the tire worse!
