Brake Bleeding Procedure

Hi all. As I mentioned in a previous post, I tried to get the dealer to bleed the brakes to remove the mushy feel in the pedal. They refused saying the brakes didn't need bleeding and that Nissan wouldn't pay for it if it was considered unnecessary by the dealer. So, I want to bleed them myself. I have bled brakes in the past but not ones with anti-lock systems. I have heard that the anti-lock must be disabled first but I don't know what to unplug or unhook. Also, in what order do I do the wheels and does the engine have to be running to keep up the vaccuum? Also, any special brake fluid to use? Would appreciate any help here from someone who has done this on their Titan. Thanks.

Re: Brake Bleeding Procedure

I have had good luck with these:

http://www.speedbleeder.com/

I didn't unhook anything and did it with the engine off.

I went driver rear, passenger rear, passenger front, driver front and did the cycle twice. (under the theory of bleeding the longest lines first).
