Question ? on Nitto Mud Grapplers

I know these are full blown mud tires, but am wondering how they balanced out. Has anyone had any problems with steering shimmy or a lateral imbalance with the tires. All the reviews i've read are positive. I'm planning on buying a set of 35x12.5x18's real soon.
Thanks in advance

Other than the noise, I haven't heard or seen any compliants about the Mud Grapplers. Like Brundy said, Nitto makes great tires.

Re: ? on Nitto Mud Grapplers

my pro comp 305 x/at's give some wobble so I'd imagine 35" mud graps would make more... people just accept it is my best guess... part of the deal.

I wanted to get mud graps but heard they don't last on asphault. one guy here had his for 3 months don't know the mileage, but the 4x4 shop owner said he's had one guy last a year and another 2 years. I think he's mistaking tires or possibly he thought or I did say something else besides mud graps. I've heard they wear quick since they're comp tires. other than that, they look sick as all hell!

Re: ? on Nitto Mud Grapplers

well the tires are here, put them on and
and
and
these tires are freaking awesome i never thought i would say a mud tire rode smooth. No steering shimmy PERIOD these are definately high quality. My wifes a little pissed i went from 37's to 35's but like i told her i was tired of the trans running hot in the sand. They are definately loud but thats fine with me, i just couldn't stand my steering wheel shaking. I'll post some pics later ( i also ground the steering stops back, big difference there also )
later.

Re: ? on Nitto Mud Grapplers

the only problem with the nitto's is that if you drive a lot of street then peices of the tires begin to come off the tread(iv herd). my best guess would be like my OR tires and doing burnouts. o and toyo makes nitto, the nitto mud grappler was a test tire for the toyo open country mt, so they are both mud tires but the toyo is a lot better on the street. i like the looks of the grapplers better tho.

No, it has not been found yet. He's negotiating a settlement now and should have a new truck soon. I guess anything is possible, it could have been his???

Qwik...thanks for the link bro...

foytiX ...thanks for keeping an eye out for me bro, I really appreciate it....my truck hasn't been found yet. I can't believe someone would be dumb enough to drive my truck as it sits...but I guess you never know. I'd love to get my hands on them.
