The Nittos are 31.38" dia. and the Toyos are 31.48" dia so they might be a little short for you, depends on the look you are after. Titans will take a 33" dia. tire stock.

Re: You're 2 cents on these 18 inch tires??

yea. I want some tires where it's just thick ENOUGH. Not too huge and not too small and on a 2 inch lift. I'm somewhat unfamiliar with 33 inch, 32, 31 inch, etc.. What would a 33 inch be? i.e. 285/75/18

A 285/75/18 would be an 11.5" wide 34.8" diameter. Probablly need a lift, but it would be very hard to find this size. Not very many 75 series tires. Mostly 60 and 65 for the 18" wheels.

A 285/65R18 would be an 11.5" wide 32.5" diameter.
A *305/65R18 would be a 12" wide 33.7" diameter. Might need a level kit for this one, or at least stock rims and stock offset.

* A new BFG AT KO size.

What's the rim size and offset you ended up with?

18x9 with a 10mm offset Mb Smoothies. Thanks for all this info. I"m use to low pro tires but I'm getting a little bit into lifted trucks now and I'm looking to find some NICE size tires with a PRG 2 inch lift.

You might have to do the pinch weld mod but since those 9" wide rims have similar to OEM backspacing, (+12 would be the same and +10 is so close), maybe not. I'd go for the BFG AT in the LT305/65/18.

Oh I figured out what the tire calculators do, but the real size very among tire size even for the same model as an example the BFG AT LT315/70/17 should be 12.4" wide, but their specs say 12.0". And 12.0" is what a 305/65/18 is. And I've seen some LT35x12.5 tires that were over 13" wide, so it pays to read the specs. But here is the tire calculator formulas which will give you ball-park:

Example for 285/65/18:

285 is the width in mm. 285/25.4 = 11.22"

65 series is the percentage of width to side wall 0.65 x 11.22 = 7.29"

Add side wall + 18" rim diameter + side wall = tire’s diameter = 32.59"

.

Yea. I THINK there is an ORW in San Ysidro. Know any shops around my area or just in SAN DIEGO that sell some with reasonable prices?
