Hi, I live in Belgium, Europe. Last year I bought a brandnew titan "chrome edition". I only have 10000 miles and I have to change my discs allready two times.
They told me that it was a known problem. But I don't think it's normal.
Can someone give me another explanation. Can I buy discs of a better quality?
Thanks.

It is a known problem...most of us here have had the brakes redone on 04's and 05's. Nissan covers everything.
Someone here might be able to advise you on warranty work in Belgium.
Look over the sites here...many discuss the brake problems.
Hi,
Thanks for your quick answer.Would't be over If I buy discs of another brand?

If you bought the truck in Europe, the selling dealer knows about the brake problems, and should fix them. Nissan has upped the warranty to cover the brakes system on 04's and 05's to 3/36...according to the letter I received.
The letter from Nissan that I received told me about the brake problems BEFORE I had any.
If the truck was bought here in the states, I'd call Nissan and discuss the problem.
There are many aftermarket brake systems...I'd go with Brembo's if I had to pay for them.
I bought him I Belgium, Europe. Them shipped him from the States to Belgium. In Europe this pick-up is a very special one. There are only 12 titans in Belgium. There's only the small brother of the titan called: nissan navarra and the pathfinder. When I went to our local nissan dealer, he never heard of the titan before.
Finally I found a titan dealer and I bought him. He knows about the breaking problems, he allready changed my discs for free, but I don't want to do this every 6 months.
Did you replaced your discs into brembo's? And are the problems gone?
cedric.

Check your private messages...I sent you some info.
Your dealer isnt changing the rotors with the right fix. Go back and have them put the newer rotors on.

You need updated rotors If yours was built before Jun-06.
SHould be under warranty assuming there is no national difference in warranty work...which I have no clue about.

Is your titan a 06 or 05? If it a 05 you need to have the dealer put the updated brake rotors on. The 04 and 05 rotors warped.
