Tire Woes

Okay, people giving too many choices here.... system going into overload... fizzle sparks flush system down...

Okay now that I got that out of my system...

What is the Biggest tire I can put on a Mini lift without rubbing. I have an 04 LE 4x4 with 18" wheels 6 spoke.

I am keeping the stock wheels but need to know what tires out there offer good performance for east coast beach and highway driving....

Right now the choices I seem to have in my price range are....

Kumho Road Venture AT
325/65/18

Nitto terra Grappler
325/60/18

Nitto Mud Grappler
33/12.50/ 18
35/12.50/18

BFG is out of the question as I need to keep in Budget...

any other choices anyone can recommend or is that pretty much it?

thanks all

Re: Tire Woes

Well yellomantis is running 35s on his with a mini lift but its got the 17" OR wheels on it. Not sure if this will make a difference. Look him up, hes got some pics in his sig. They look like great tires and a great price. Kumho Road Venture Mud Terrain. They have em at tirerack.com for $232 a pop plus shipping. 35x12.50-18. Something to consider.

Re: Tire Woes

Was at the local shop today and he quoted me 255 ea for the Nitto Terra Grapplers 325/60/18. He did ask me some questions which I am hoping I can get some feedback on as these tires look really good. A lot bigger than I thought and am kind of concerned they won't fit without a more aggressive lift than I currently have. (PRG mini lift 1.5" back, leveling kit Frt.)

The guy at the shop also said that the manufacturer recommends 9-9.5" wheels for the above tire size? Am I able to put these on the Stock six spoke LE 18" rims so I can run the beach airing down etc without blowing off the bead or rubbing.... just do minor stuff... no jumping etc.....

the Future does hold a higher lift and wheels, but for now, want to get these tires if they fit and if they wont wear off... I have less than 3 mile commute for work so wont put many miles on them till I can get the next stage in performance mods.

thanks....
